Shyne Calls “good kid m.A.A.d. city” Trash

Shyne is at it again. His latest plea for attention took place on Twitter, where he labeled Kendrick Lamar‘s critically acclaimed and soon to be commercially successful good kid m.A.A.d. city “Trash”.

It seems pretty obvious Shyne is taking advantage of the negative publicity by repeating his message over and over. It’s one thing to have an opinion about an album, it’s something entirely different to use your negativity as a tool to try and become relevant again. Perhaps this way of thought is the reason Shyne got outted to begin with or maybe he is just upset that his new single “You’re Welcome” didn’t get the attention he feels it deserves….

Now that my eyes have rolled back into my head, it seems to me Shyne enjoys playing devil’s advocate. Many people speculate Kendrick Lamar‘s good kid m.A.A.d. city is a classic in the making, comparing it to the likes of Illmatic. Not only that but you don’t even have to think that the release is the next coming of The Chronic to realize it is obviously not recycle bin material. Shyne really could have worded his criticisms of the project more eloquently.

If you haven’t grabbed yourself a copy of good kid m.A.A.d city yet it is available on iTunes now. Give it a listen to decide for yourself and let us know what you think of Shyne‘s comments.

Update: Added a video of Shyne defending his comments on The Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show.
