Drake Ditching YMCMB For Roc Nation?

Drake Ditching YMCMB For Roc Nation?

If rumors are true, Drake might be ditching YMCMB and headed toward Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation label.

Rumors have circulated before about Drake leaving Young Money / Cash Money Records and the rapper quickly debunked them, but today another rumor that seems more solid has surfaced involving Drake leaving the team he now represents.

Rumor has it that YMCMB is trying to sell the rights of Drake to Roc Nation for a whopping $50 Million.

This rumor is circulating shortly after Drake brought his October’s Very Own (shortly known as OVO) imprint to Warner Bros. Records.

We’ll keep you updated as this story develops, but as of now it’s only a rumor.

UPDATE: According to somebody who spoke out to XXL, this rumor is untrue and there are no talks between YMCMB and Roc Nation regarding Drake. We’ll see…

I really hope he does. YMCMB has been going downhill for a while now, along with Lil Wayne. Unless “I Am Not A Human Being II” proves me wrong, Drake should get out of there. I think YMCMB is holding him back.

YMCMB is too busy signing artists like Caskey & Fred Durst.
