The cause of death is unknown yet but but it has been suggested that Capital Steez took his own life, tweeting this just moments before death.

On Friday Billboard reported that Interscope Records will host Gee Roberson‘s new label, Blueprint. Coming along as part of the deal are the L.E.P. Bogus Boys and rapper/producer Hit-Boy. Gee said:
“I’m very happy about the knowledge and experience I gained at Geffen that will be very useful going forward in the future.” Roberson said. “Now it’s time to go back to my roots, that entrepreneurial spirit, wrap my arms around my own label and fold it into Interscope Geffen A&M. Based on the relationship I already have with Jimmy and everyone at the label, this is a very natural move that’s filled with synergies.”
L.E.P. Bogus Boys manager Eric Alvarez had this to say:
“We appreciate any and everyone that’s ever listened to our music, watched our videos and supported our cause. We’re here to open the door for Chicago music and show you what it’s really about, so we can change the misrepresentation of our city and how we’re portrayed to the world. There’s a wealth of positives and potential in our city and region. Everybody knows L.E.P. and Infared Music Group has been carrying the torch and we will continue to brand and grow right here in Chicago. Special shouts out to all the youngins doing it, and a very special shout out to the most promising artist Spenzo (@AintUSpenzo). 2013 it’s all of ours.
Currensy took to Twitter a few minute ago to surprise everyone with artwork to a new mixtape he will be releasing tomorrow. Spitta must have so much music in the vault, he’s a master of releasing projects completely out of nowhere.

Here is a brand new track from Mike Posner “Back Home” featuring King Chip. Read what Mike had to say about the release below.
It’s 8pm Dec 22nd and I just got back to Detroit. My Dad picked me up from the airport. My sister is cooking dinner and yelling at me for already having my headphones on. My Mom is on her way home from work. These words can’t express how grateful I am for my family and friends. Everyday I wake up and can’t believe my life is real. Hopefully this song can be part of the soundtrack to your prosperity and happiness in 2013.
