Last night at the taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards, 50 Cent and Fat Joe squashed their beef and honored the late Chris Lighty during a tribute to the Violator Management mogul that will air on television October 9th. The two graced the stage alongside the likes of other Violator acts such as Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip. 50 and Joe even took a moment to shake hands on stage in front of the live crowd, signifying that their beef is no more.

Later on 50 tweeted about squashing the beef with Fat Joe and honoring his late friend Chris Lighty. 50 even replied to a fan who asked if he would work with Fat Joe on music in the future, and it sure seems like 50 is open to it. A member of Fat Joe‘s Terror Squad entourage, Raul, tweeted a photo with 50 along with the message “true kings get money” and later even tweeted lyrics to 50‘s current single “It’s A New Day”.
