Power Season 3 Ordered After 1st Episode Of 2nd Season Airs

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has a lot to be happy about today, as his Starz television series POWER has already been renewed for a third season.

Season two of POWER premiered on Saturday, June 6, 2015 on the premium cable channel Starz and managed to bring in 1.43 million live viewers and 3.62 million total viewers in live plus same day ratings.

“I am thrilled to learn that season three of ‘Power’ has been officially ordered by Starz. It is an honor to work with Chris Albrecht, Carmi Zlotnik, Ken Segna and the whole Starz team. Their support has been steadfast from the beginning, and I look forward to a bright future together,” executive producer Courtney Kemp Agboh said.

“’Power’ is a project I have been passionate about since day one,” added executive producer and co-star Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. “I am glad the audience loves the show as much as we do, and we are just getting started.”

Season three of POWER will have all of the current cast return and Starz has ordered 10 full-length episodes.

POWER airs Saturdays on Starz at 9PM EST.
