While the deal has apparently been finalized for months, news is just starting to get out now that the original Dungeon Dragon has signed with one of the top entertainment groups in the game, Young Money. Busta Rhymes will now stand aside Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Drake and many other artists on the label in hopes of making their hip-hop take over even greater. It’s a little odd that Busta would sign with a label so late in his career like this, but it also signifies a new start for Busta which has been on the come up with his high-quality verses and freestyles over the past year. Expect to hear Busta on multiple songs from the second Young Money album which is set for a release date sometime in 2012. Busta, Drake and Nicki on one track? Yes please, just leave the vocals out of the studio and bring the bars in a big way.
Update: News has also broke that New Orleans based rapper Mystikal also recently signed with Young Money/Cash Money. Congrats to both artists!
