According to Hits Daily Double, Drake‘s long awaited new album Nothing Was The Same has been pushed back. The album which originally was supposed to release on September 17th, will now hit store shelves an entire week later on September 24th.

The reason for the push back is currently unknown. Drake‘s original NWTS release date shared the same day of release as Maybach Music Group‘s Selfmade, Vol. 3 and the latest installment of the popular video game Grand Theft Auto 5. The album will now share the same release date as fellow Cash Money label-mate DJ Khaled‘s Suffering From Success. Drizzy will now find himself battling it out with Metallica, Elton John and Cher for the top spot on the Billboard charts.

Nothing Was The Same is Aubrey “Drake” Graham‘s third studio album, and for the project he collaborated on songs with the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Hudson Mohawke as well as newcomers Majid Jordan, and PartyNextDoor.
