Looks like Drake may come a little short on his dream of selling a million copies of Nothing Was The Same in it’s first week out. According to a professional sales projection by Hits Daily Double, Drizzy is currently on pace to sell around 675-725k copies of his third studio album.

While the tally will still be mighty impressive for the Canadian rapper, it’s still not what he expected.

Drake rapped about his goal of selling a million copies of Nothing Was The Same on the catchy summer track “Versace.”

“I think I’m sellin’ a million first week, man I guess I’m a optimist”

Expect final sales figures for Drake‘s new album to be revealed next week.
