Looks like Eminem is going to have another plaque to place on his wall. Eminem’s critically acclaimed 2010 album Recovery has officially reached platinum status for a fourth time in the USA, selling more than 4,000,000 copies, as revealed on the RIAA’s website. Could Recovery reach diamond status (10,000,000 copies sold) in the future, much like his past albums The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) & The Eminem Show (2002) did over the years? We’ll have to wait and see. But the way this album is selling, it sure seems likely within a few years time.

In 2011 Eminem’s chart topping 2010 #1 Recovery single “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna also went platinum 5 times, making it the highest selling single of the year.  Yep, Slim Shady makes platinum singles and albums consistently.  But what else is new?
