Drake has dropped Future from his tour following comments that were made about his new album Nothing Was The Same.
In a childish move typical of the Toronto rapper (who currently owes his stylist over $75k), Drizzy requested that Future be removed from all Would You Like A Tour dates the day Future‘s controversial quote was released.
What exactly did Future Hendrix say that had Drake so upset? When speaking to Billboard he made these comments about NWTS:
“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love.”
Apparently his non-lyrical words have a big impact on people too. Clearly Drake was affected enough (or threatened enough) to have him removed from the tour.
Drake was very unhappy with the interview, a source revealed. “He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him.”
Future is now set to sue Drake for 1.5 million dollars over lost wages. Drizzy is also facing a lawsuit for ripping off the design for the OVO necklaces he gave his entire crew. Ah well, with all of those units sold I’m sure he can find a good lawyer.
Nothing Was The Same, but Future‘s just trying to be #Honest.
Update: It appears Jhene Aiko has been named as the replacement for Future on Drake‘s tour. She has Instagramed a photo with the caption “Would You Like A Tour? #NWTS.”
