This morning Havoc of Mobb Deep called into The Breakfast Club and denied there was any legitimacy to the Tweets dissing Prodigy yesterday. Mobb Deep is not broke up, and that’s what matters at the end of the day. In case you missed the whole situation, here is what went down… Havoc made Tweets dissing his longtime friend and Mobb Deep member, Prodigy. Later, many major media outlets and radio personalities confirmed that it was Havoc tweeting. Just last night, Havoc put out a statement saying that it wasn’t him tweeting and somebody found his phone and was sending out the tweets from his lost phone. Sounds like a good cover up of some behind the scenes issue, right? Wrong. Havoc’s tweets dissing Prodigy were sent via web. Not via a mobile app, not via mobile web, but via the web. Yeah, not too smart. This morning Breakfast Club obtained audio of Havoc dissing Prodigy to make matters worse and after that audio was shared, he decided to call The Breakfast Club to speak his piece. Listen to the audio of him dissing Prodigy and his interview with The Breakfast Club after the break.

If you missed Havoc’s half-assed statement, read it below.

“Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!”

What are your thoughts on this situation? I personally don’t care as long as we hear new Mobb Deep music in the near future.
