On Jay-Z‘s upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail track “Oceans” the rapper is going to stir up some controversy by calling himself “Muhammad Hovi” and at the same time disrespecting the Islamic prophet. It’s unknown where the picture of Jay-Z is from, but let’s hope it’s not from a music video or something for the track. According to the ever so reliable site Media Take Out, Samsung even had Hov black out “Muhammad Hovi” in “Oceans” lyrics revealed on the MCHG app, knowing the backlash it could and probably will have.

Update: It’s been brought to our attention that Jay-Z is actually referring to himself as Muhammad Hovi comparing himself to Muhammad Ali. There is no real controversy and Media Take Out is just being Media Take Out. According to CRS One, the photos of Jay-Z are also from a trip a few years back with Beyonce to Nigeria. Well, that explains everything.
