Tonight Kanye West tweeted that he would be debuting a new video at 66 locations around the globe. A map was placed on his domain with all of the locations, and social media heads broke out their iPhone‘s visiting each location to capture clips. The marketing idea is pretty genius, and it’s been done before for major film franchise’s such as The Dark Knight. Kanye being Kanye did something groundbreaking using this guerrilla marketing technique for the release of his new music. The outcome? Grainy, low quality looks at Kanye West‘s “New Slaves” music video.
