To Pimp A Butterfly Only Sold 35,000 Copies In LA

Days ago we found out that Kendrick Lamar‘s To Pimp A Butterfly album managed to sell 363,000 copies in it’s first week of release. 324,000 copies were purchases, while the rest were streams. The number is impressive, and Kendrick Lamar still managed to go #1 but he isn’t too happy with the sales of To Pimp A Butterfly.

In a tweet (which was later deleted) by Kendrick Lamar, he said that To Pimp A Butterfly only sold 35,000 copies in Los Angeles, and told fans on the West Coast they got work to do.
