WAFB is reporting that Lil Boosie has been officially released from Louisiana State Penitentiary.

Boosie real-name Torrence Hatch was released as a result of good behavior. While behind bars Lil Boosie obtained his GED.

According to sources, Boosie has penned tons of new material while locked up, and is already planning to hit the studio.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) –

Rap Artist Lil Boosie was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night.

Angola State Penitentiary Warden Burl Cain confirms the rapper, who is legally named Torrence Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. He was transferred to a sheriff’s department facility in St. Francisville where family members were waiting for him.


Atlantic Records
will hold a press conference Monday, with Lil Boosie set to attend in New Orleans.
