Looks like the
Losers Lasers are winning. Lupe Fiasco’s third major release ‘Lasers‘ sold more that 204,000 copies in it’s first week out, debuting at number one, selling more copies than Adele’s ‘21,’ Glee’s soundtrack and Avril Lavigne’s ‘Goodbye Lullabye.’
It’s Lupe Fiasco’s first number one album and his best sales week yet. His second album, ‘The Cool,’ debuted at number fifteen with 143,000 in 2007, while his debut album ‘Food & Liquor‘ debuted at number eight in 2006 with 81,000 sold.
This is a great thing for Lupe, and all of his dedicated fans are to thank for his LP being at number one.
