Listen To “White Privilege 2” By Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Featuring Jamilia Woods

In support of his forthcoming album This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, Macklemore speaks on social injustice and backs the Black Lives Matter movement. He enlightens the masses about his white privilege, calls Miley Cyrus and Iggy Azalea fascist and gets people talking about their own privilege by using himself as an example. Over the Ryan Lewis production Macklemore rhymes powerful lyrics such as: “Okay, I’m saying that they’re chanting out, ‘Black lives matter,’ but I don’t say it back / Is it okay for me to say? I don’t know, so I watch and stand in front of a line of police that look the same as me,” while speaking on the marching he did after Mike Brown‘s shooter Darren Wilson was pronounced not guilty.
