Listen To “Black Tux” By Marco Pavé

Memphis artist Marco Pavé drops off his new single “Black Tux” featuring production by Kenny Wayne. The record is inspired by 70’s soul and samples Curtis Mayfield‘s “We Who Are Darker Than Blue.” Marco‘s raps are nothing short of phenomenal and the overall sound is reminiscent to what we got from Kanye West on his first two albums, College Dropout and Late Registration. Marco Pavé protests with his rhymes and represents black youth on the track, which he says is in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and a metaphor for how America views black bodies and treats black lives. That being said, Black Tux is worth the listen and Marco Pavé is worth your time.
