More good news for Nas fans.
If the exciting announcement of the Illmatic XX 20th anniversary tour and re-release didn’t put a smile on your face, this just might. According to Deadline, Nas has partnered with Microsoft‘s XBOX Entertainment Studios to create a 30-minute TV series entitled “Street Dreams.” The comedy series will center around 1990s New York and be based on the rapper’s own life and living experiences in Long Island’s Queensbridge project housing complex where he grew up. The show will take a look into his music, family, and the trials and tribulations of it all.
Street Dreams from Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell’s Electric City Entertainment will be penned by Nas and Jonathan Levine (The Wackness), who also grew up in 90s New York.
