Nelly‘s new album “M.O.” is available on store shelves right now and today we get a projection of what the once platinum selling rapper is capable of in 2013. Radio friendly tracks such as “Hey Porsche” and “Get Like Me” featuring Nicki Minaj and this year’s biggest hit-maker, Pharrell, couldn’t save the Honey Nut Cheerios promoting rapper.

According to Hits Daily Double, Nelly is currently on pace to sell 12-15k copies of his latest effort.

This will be an all time low for the southern rapper. His previous effort, 5.0., even managed to sell 63,000 copies in it’s first week. To date, Nellyville is Nelly‘s most commercially successful album. The project sold 714,000 copies in it’s first week, and went on to nearly go diamond with 7,000,000 copies sold.

12-15k is just a projection, but it’s looking like Nelly‘s new album is a flop. Stay tuned for final numbers.

In related news: Justin Timberlake is projected to move a little more than 325,000 copies of The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 in the first week out. This is a significantly lower figure that the first installment, which went platinum first week.
