POTUS Loves “How Much A Dollar Cost”

President Barack Obama has never been one to hold back when sharing his musical taste. Over the Summer, our 44th president of the Unites States shared a playlist featuring music by Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Hi-Tek, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill and more. His playlist showed us that he’s a fan of music with soul and now he’s letting the world know he’s a fan of the funk too.

During an interview with People magazine, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama revealed their picks for song of the year and more. Our first lady chose something pop friendly for her song pick, the Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson collaboration “Uptown Funk“. President Barack Obama kept it 100 and revealed how much he loves Kendrick Lamar‘s “How Much A Dollar Cost“, making it his song of the year.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE for a Campaign 2016 special feature in this week’s magazine, Michelle reveals she can’t get enough of “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, while her husband says he’s all about Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost.”

That’s right, our president can be found in the oval office listening to Kendrick‘s To Pimp A Butterfly. Now isn’t that beautiful like a rose growing from concrete.
