Today a bunch of women with nothing better to do than over-analyze a rap lyric from a Rick Ross feature on Rocko‘s now infamous “U.O.E.N.O.“, a song I think is great, gathered in front of Reebok‘s flagship store in New York. None of these women had ever heard a rap lyric before, especially not one by Eminem, Tyler, The Creator, Tyga or any number of other artists who have said worse in their music. Despite Rick Ross‘ plea, various women’s groups protested outside of Reebok collecting over 72,000 signatures calling for Rozay’s endorsement deal to be stripped. I saw half the women dancing to a Meek Mill song at the club last night.

Let’s take some time out to listen to every rap lyric ever and determine which lyrics we personally find offensive and then make an enormous deal out of it in front of a store that is more or less entirely unrelated to music. It’s a sad state of affairs when the fans get to write your music for you. Hopefully Ross pulls through this idiocy unscathed.
