We first heard rumors of a Snoop Dogg orientated family sitcom in the works early September, but now those rumors are confirmed true. Snoop Dogg is in-fact working on a television sitcom and NBC has picked up the rights to air it. Comedy writer Don Reo (“Blossom,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “My Wife and Kids”) will helm the shows script.
Not much about the show is revealed yet, but it’s being said that the show will star Snoop Dogg as a father. While not much is revealed, one things for certain, we hope Snoop Dogg gets a longer shot at prime time on NBC than The Playboy Club did.
Expect Snoop Dogg’s family oriented sitcom to air sometime in 2012 on NBC.
