Soulja Boy‘s Bentley has been impounded after investigations have led the cops to believe his car was the cause of an accident this past January. In September, Soulja Boy faced a lawsuit for a car crash involving his Bentley he denied, only to admit to it later. The victims of the crash were suing him for medical expenses among other things and now Soulja Boy finds himself in a similar position once again.

The rapper’s car was reportedly impounded after the police concluded that Soulja Boy was driving the Bentley when he t-boned a motorcyclist on January 9th. TMZ reports, the biker was left seriously injured, while the driver of the Bentley fled the scene of the crime.

After a witness, who also happened to be a friend of the victim did some of their own research to find out who the driver was, he made at breakthrough at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles. The valet told him he knew the car well, and that it belonged to Soulja Boy.

After the witness forwarded this information to the authorities, the cops were able to run Soulja’s license plate number through their system and found a bunch of photos from traffic cameras of Soulja’s Bentley with damage that corresponded to the accident.

The Bentley is currently in pristine condition, however, the police assume he got his car fixed after the accident. They went forward with acquiring a search warrant, and a judge agreed with them that there was probable cause that the rapper’s Bentley was involved in the accident, and so his car was impounded.
