Trinidad James announced on Twitter that he has been released from his contract at Def Jam Records. He signed with the label back in 2012 after his breakout hit “All Gold Everything” gained popularity and went viral. He says his debut album will be released for free and that he can’t pay the rappers and producers featured on it because he is broke.
