Troy Ave To Plead Not Guilty To Murder Chages Following Hospital Release

Troy Ave has been released from the hospital just days following a deadly shooting at Irving Plaza in New York City.

Troy Ave has been taken into police custody following his hospital release. He was being treated for leg injuries, after supposedly shooting himself.

After the shooting Troy Ave drove himself to the hospital  police searched the van he arrived in and found three guns, one of which was used at Irving Plaza.

Video surfaced of the shooting and Troy Ave can be seen firing a pistol, but it’s unknown if he harmed anyone other than himself.

The shooting left Troy Ave’s bodyguard “BSB Banga” dead, and Troy Ave’s lawyer says he died a hero, protecting Troy.

Read Troy Ave’s lawyer’s statment below.

What really happened here is Mr. Collins here is the real victim. The person who was killed at this event, he died a hero. He (McPhatter) was his bodyguard. He wasn’t shot by Mr. Collins. He was a lifelong friend. This 11 seconds of video that the NYPD released, it doesn’t say what happened before, it doesn’t say what happened after. The scientific evidence will show he didn’t shoot himself. This was another rush to judgement. In this case he’s the victim and should be treated like the victim.”

Troy Ave is facing attempted murder and criminal posession of a weapon charges.
