Tru Life Could Be Out Of Prison Within 2 Weeks

According to Tru Life‘s friend and pen pal Drenstarr, the New York City rapper will be getting an early prison release and could be home within 2 weeks. Drenstarr took to his Instagram account to post a photo of mail he recently received from Tru Life with a picture of him looking mighty healthy.

In 2011, Tru Life was sentenced to eight years behind bars for participating in the stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero, who was 20-years-old.

Tru Life is known for being an artist of Jay-Z‘s Roc-A-Fella records.

During a recent interview on ItsTheReal‘s A Waste Of Time podcast, Cipha Sounds (another friend of Tru Life) spoke on his prison release and had a different story than Drenstarr, saying Tru life would not get an early prison release and revealed Tru Life hates when he talks about it.
