Tyler, The Creator is switching up his style on his upcoming album, Wolf. In a recent interview, Tyler talked about his past material, including the work on his album Goblin and explained why his new music featured on his project Wolf will be different from the content of Goblin.

“Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn’t interest me anymore. What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I’ll brag a little bit more, talk about money and buying sh*t. But not like other rappers, I’ll be a smart ass about it.”

But this doesn’t mean Tyler will be switching it up for commercial value. Tyler let it be known that he will still be unique.

“Now it’s just girls throwing themselves at me and sh*t, but I got a girl back home. People who want the first album again, I can’t do that. I was 18, broke as f*ck. On my third album, I have money and I’m hanging out with my idols. I can’t rap about the same sh*t.”

Tyler, The Creator’s Wolf is expected around May 2012. The image featured Tyler recently tweeted from a studio where he is hard at work on Wolf. Excerpts in this article are from Tyler’s new interview in Spin magazine.
